- Contact form submissions: name, email, company, and message content when you reach out through our contact or demo scheduling forms.
- Payment information: billing details processed through our third-party payment processor. We do not store credit card numbers directly.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, time spent, clickstream data.
- Device information: browser type, operating system, device identifiers, IP address.
- Cookies and similar technologies: session cookies for functionality, analytics cookies for understanding usage patterns. See Section 6 for details.
1.3 Code and Repository Data
When you connect a codebase to Aedeon, we process source code to build the Code Intelligence Graph. This is core to our service delivery.
- Source code is processed to extract structure, logic, data flows, and dependencies.
- The Code Intelligence Graph is a derived, queryable model — not a copy of your source code.
- We do not use your source code to train machine learning models.
- We do not share your source code or graph data with other customers.
- You retain all ownership rights to your source code and any intellectual property contained therein.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Aedeon platform and services.
- Build and maintain the Code Intelligence Graph for your connected repositories.
- Process demo requests and respond to inquiries.
- Send transactional communications (account confirmations, security alerts, service updates).
- Analyze usage patterns to improve product experience (aggregated, anonymized data only).
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers: third-party vendors who assist in operating our platform (cloud hosting, analytics, payment processing), bound by confidentiality agreements.
- Legal requirements: when required by law, subpoena, or legal process.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to affected users.
- With your consent: when you explicitly authorize a specific disclosure.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:
- Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256).
- Access controls and role-based permissions for internal systems.

- SOC 2 Type II compliance (in progress for Enterprise tier).
- Incident response procedures with notification within 72 hours of confirmed breaches.
5. Data Retention
- Account data: retained for the duration of your account plus 30 days after deletion request.
- Code Intelligence Graph data: deleted within 30 days of repository disconnection or account termination.
- Usage analytics: retained in aggregated, anonymized form indefinitely. Individual session data retained for 12 months.
- Contact form submissions: retained for 24 months unless you request earlier deletion.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We use the following categories of cookies:
- Essential cookies: required for site functionality (session management, security). Cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies: help us understand how visitors interact with our website (e.g., Google Analytics). Can be disabled via cookie preferences.
- Marketing cookies: used to deliver relevant content and measure campaign effectiveness. Can be disabled via cookie preferences.
